ST. PETERSBURG — A severe thunderstorm warning was issued late Wednesday night for Pinellas and Hillsborough Counties.
The warning will last until 10:45 p.m., with storms expected to make landfall in Pinellas County at about 10:20 p.m., according to Bay News 9 meteorologist Josh Linker.
The storm is carrying winds of up to 60 mph, Linker said. Once the storm makes landfall, the winds should decrease, Linker said.
