Tampa Bay residents were greeted with a blast of cooler weather Wednesday morning that dropped temperatures about 10 to 15 degrees.
The cooler temperatures are expected to stick around for the rest of the week. Wednesday and Thursday shouldn't get out of the 60s, while Friday should peak around 70.
Thursday morning will likely be the coldest morning, with temperatures dropping to the mid 40s in Tampa and St. Petersburg.
This weekend's forecast calls for highs in the mid 70s.
Residents have a cold front that swept through Tampa Bay on Tuesday to thank for the cooler temperatures. Until the front, temperatures had been above normal.
