BROOKSVILLE — A woman died Sunday morning after her car struck a tree in front of the Applebee's restaurant on Cortez Boulevard.
Nancy Garcia, 52, of 24390 Kaufman Road, south of Brooksville, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Brooksville Police Department. Her silver Mazda sedan was the only vehicle involved in the incident.
The cause of her death is still under investigation.
