ST. PETERSBURG — Driver Cameron Richard Bosley, who with Michael Graziano was seriously injured Tuesday when his car rear-ended a dump truck, is improving at Bayfront Medical Center, officials said.

Bosley's injuries were initially described as serious but by Wednesday morning, he had improved to fair condition, officials said.

Bayfront Medical Center did not release the nature of the injuries.

Graziano remained in critical condition Wednesday.

The men were rushed to the hospital about 3 a.m., following the high-speed wreck, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The crash bore an eerie similarity to a collision that left Graziano's older brother, John, with severe brain damage in 2007.

John Graziano had been riding in a car with Nick Bollea, the son of wrestling star Hulk Hogan, when the vehicle jumped a curb and plowed into a palm tree.

Graziano, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.

In this later crash, neither Graziano nor Bosley was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

Debra Graziano, mother of John and Michael, issued a call for prayer from the hospital Tuesday.

"The family is just begging for prayers for Michael and to keep them healing," she said in a statement.
