CLEARWATER — A man and woman were found dead in a home near Frisco and Deer Run drives early Monday after gunshots were heard in the area, police said.
Officers responded to a house at 2532 Sweetgum Way W around 7 a.m. Monday and discovered the man and woman dead in the garage, police said. A 911 call reporting gunshots came in at about 6:45 a.m., said Clearwater Police spokeswoman Beth Watts.
An investigation into how the two died remained under way Monday morning.
Several emergency vehicles were joined by animal services officials, who pulled two small dogs from the home.
Sweetgum Way W was blocked off as the investigation continued. No further information was immediately available.
