State Farm Florida has asked regulators to raise its rates an average of 42 percent on the 6,500 mobile homes it insures in Florida.
The Florida Office of Insurance Regulation has slated a hearing on the request for 9 a.m. Wednesday in Room 116 of the Larson Building, 200 E. Gaines St., in Tallahassee.
Members of the public unable to attend the meeting are urged to forward their comments or concerns to ratehearings@floir.com by March 14. The subject line of the email should read "State Farm Florida."
