TAMPA — A 54-year-old woman with Alzheimer's disease was located on Saturday, less than a day after she went missing.
Evelyn Roig Costello was last seen at 3 p.m. Friday after she left home at 1305 Crenshaw St. to walk her dog, according to police. Her husband confirmed that she was missing at 5 p.m. Tampa police announced Saturday afternoon that she was located without any visible injuries and was reunited with her family.
Costello has an advancing case of Alzheimer's, police said.
